Craftsman home style describes the American home interior and exterior from the late 1800’s to the mid 1900’s. You’ve probably heard it referred to as “The Arts and Crafts Era” It combines art deco and art nouveau, but still makes heavy use of the crafts of the time like woodworking, iron and leather. They can be a little pricey if you aren’t blessed with the ability to swing a hammer. But, think of them as an investment since they will add to the value of your home.
